Welcome to Tigard Informal English Language Learning for Adults (TIELLA)
2024-2025 Classes Begin September 23!
English learners at all levels are welcome. Join people from around the world. Practice English in conversations led by friendly, volunteer tutors. There are no fees or charges.
IN-PERSON Classes:

Tuesday & Thursday Mornings, 10:30 to Noon
Child care offered at no cost on Tuesdays!

WINTER WEATHER: TIELLA In-person classes will NOT meet when the Tigard Public Schools are closed or start late due to a winter storm.

To sign up, please answer a few questions, share your email address, and we will contact you. Or drop-in just before class begins.​ An instructor will help match you with a tutor.
Feel free to attend whenever you can. There is no cost for the class or materials.
On-line classes require an Internet connection. They are also free but you will need to receive a Zoom link to participate.
